Darkness,
my pillow is new,
sheets satin soft
as breath stirs night

hushed
against the low rumble
of this good man who shimmers,
turning phases of the new moon
round-mouthed to sighs
and dawn stretched
to a yawny awakening.

Sunlight beams here,
slanted like smiles.
Music rings harmonious chords,
warming the strings connecting
bubbles of hope past simmer
to life spilled in words,
and laughter rills streaming
conscious of beautiful tomorrows.

Nice phrases to hang onto...

sheets usually are satin soft

I gave it 5 because it's so good, but I did look for something to pick at. It was darn hard! But I found satin soft. :) Isn't that phrase used way too often? Okay, that's the best constructive crit I can come up with, A. Most of your poetry is flawless.
