Do not let freedom
Of the press, which
Gives the poet's pen
Liberty to experiment,
Cause you to think
That because women are
Erotically and sexually
Written about, sometimes
In words not liked,
That women: mothers,
Sisters, wives and lovers
Aren't respected, honored
And deeply appreciated,
Because they are.
Literature that is free
Must be able to handle
Every subject in every
Imaginable way; only then
Can true poetic freedom
Ring through the poet's pen;
And eroticism be set free
From closed, censorig minds
Who accuse us of degrading women;
When our work seeks to do the opposite,
And no one gets upset when men
Are written about in every possible way.
