winter
blast
and scourge
entrap enmesh
en-fuck end-ear
whatever the hell
that are four walls
snow-bound
inter-walled inter-dicted
inter-dick'd
or not or yet or sleet
or frosted crud
a mirror for the soul
a mirror for the sold
we're all gold
frozen in the snow
twinkle twinkle
glitter-bright pork-e-rite
and still the snow fell
and the sleet fell
and the slurry ran
and trapped trapped
was the bear the hare the were
'ware the raven
nevermore
but four walls and a floor
white wall
bright snow
grey skies
heave and grind
crush
mush
alone
and the snow
do the dead wait for summer
to a-molder 'gain
do the worms rest 'n' slumber
graves beneath the snow
four walls
a hell for sold souls
solid and unrepentant
the hell of our skulls
the barriers
always white
and bleached
and bone
and snow
and the grey sludge of life
oh it pours
on it runs
running
running
melting
into the graves
beneath the snow
winter
season of our
question
quest
rest
decay
every day
and still the snow
is virgin white
waiting baiting
baying
for blood

"Ah, snowman! Raise your scythe, Frosty Reaper!"
