The ripples in the water look so innocent.
The sun reflecting off the water, almost like a mirror.
The ripples so quiet, lapping at the edge of the lake.
Moving slowly together, like a romantic dance.
The sound so peaceful, so calming, so reassuring.

The soothing sound of the ripples calms my soul.
It makes me at peace with myself, and my actions.
Staring out at the ripples in the water,
Makes everything else in the world forgotten.
