Life emerges from the skeleton's of winter,
green becomes green while
plum blossoms float to my alter.

Perfume returns to the air while
mist kisses the tree's
and spring falls down
in droplets from the gunmetal sky.

Animals are on the move
and the wind is my lover
again.

Change has come.

very nice....

sabina...i can tell that you want spring as badly as i do. i'll be offering my version also. i can also say, it's fresh perspective as it's not one i've seen on the seasons. nice job!!!

gunmetal sky

I love that phrase. It describes it perfectly.

The last verse is wonderful in itself.

Nice job

The perfect poem...

to commemorate this time of year and the anticipated reawakening of nature.
