I take your hand and naked walk down to the River Jordan
Pale white flesh stained red by the setting desert sun
Smiling you lay on the ground, and be my perfect lover
And turn me inside out again, until the night is done

In full view of heaven, surrender my sense of reason
And hold you close against me, fingers tangled in your hair
Dizzy now, ears still ringing, heart racing, blood still singing
Feel the heat within you, rising in the air

Fingers sliding in our passions, sweetness for our souls
Lips dance along your torso, trailing liquid fire
Lick the dust of life, from every hidden corner
And joined as one we soar, higher ever higher

Closer now than ever, perfection seems so near
Racing across your body, to the places yet unknown
Dizzy now, ears still ringing, heart racing, blood still singing
Drawing from your swollen lips, a cry, a word, a moan

The predawn light slides soft across the silent River Jordan
And on the hillside finds us panting, foolish, sated and as one
Our fingers twined together, as we climb to the summit
Kiss naked and exposed, and greet the new-born sun
