Some say that romance is too old fashion.
Do you think that’s true?
Some say it’s not connected to any realm of reality.
Is romance over rated?
I don’t think it is.
I believe that romance, for it’s own sake
Drives us
It’s that longing for the kiss good night
The hands held in the park
The smiles that are exchanged between lovers.
The shared embrace standing in the moonlight
It is that heated longing of desire.
That confusion at the door.
Romance is that sweet enjoyment of emotions shared.
It certainly heightens all the senses.
It is that precious threshold
Where those special little memories are built
Romance, the edge where fantasy starts to meet reality
That anxious anticipation
The wonder of how he will feel
It is that delightful shiver down her spine
At the touch of his hand upon her back
Those sweet dreams that begin in candlelight
The sanguine light of dusk
It is like that rose bud given on that special date
That blooms overnight
Re-given in the morning upon the pillow
Next to her dreaming thoughts.
