No more than a glimpse of her face
lit up by a streetlight.
No more than a second,
long as a heart beat.
Then she was gone
among the bushes of the park
and when you ran after her,
all that was left,
for a moment
before it was gone
was the scent of rose and cinnamon.

Quite nice...

."When you ran after her, all that was left, for a moment

before it was gone. Was the scent of rose and cinnamon."..

Well done.

Long term memory

A fleeting glance,

and a scent in the air. . .

What, no clicking of heels?

All that is needed for a lifetime memory.

A sharp imaged vignette writ well.
