I'm like a sweet fragile flower
Growing in a planter box
Sitting in a pretty picture window
You like a weed, a vine
Growing in the cement cracks
You creep, you crawl
You slither so divine
Always lurking in that psyche of mine
A weed, a vine
With sprouting claws
Intertwining around my sanguine petals
Draining the blood flow of life from me
You leave me withered
You are poisonous to my beauty inside and out
