You're thinking either to yourself or aloud:
"Why did he send me two roses?"
Or maybe even saying to one of your friends:
"Do you see the way he brown-noses?"

My friends all say I'm hopelessly whipped,
And that I will be for the rest of my life.
Well, duh! The smartest thing I ever did
Was ask you to become my wife.

But it still doesn't explain why I would send
Two tokens of love to you.
It's one more birthday after seven years;
You'd think just one would do.

C'mon sweet Wifey, oh angel of mine,
Don't you see how happy I am?
You're twice the woman that I deserve,
And you've made me twice the man.

Or here is another example of two
In a world where Hubby always wins:
I have an awesome wife with beautiful boobs;
Of course I had to mention the twins.

But the bottom line, all jokes aside,
Is that I'm still in love with you.
And after seven years without the seven year itch,
I'll be in love til my life is through.

You see, one rose is for you, my dear,
And the other is for me.
Together they represent our wonderful life,
In which I'm as happy as I can be.

So there it is, my lovely bride,
I hope I've explained it clearly.
From now til death, and through Heaven's gates,
I'll always love you dearly.
