If life gets too hard and you're feeling all alone
If things aren't right and you need somewhere to go
If you need a faithful friend who will always stand by you
If you need a hand to hold until the storm is through
If you need an ear to listen or a shoulder for your tears
If you need a new perspective when the situation's not clear
If you need someone to hold you until the break of dawn
If you need someone to love you even when you're wrong
If there's anything I can do to make you more secure
You will always have my friendship as long as life endures
When you need somewhere to run to make you more complete
Don't forget that I love you and you can always run to me
