Scent of a Virgin (Once Tried)

        Once tried
    the fleeting innocent’s
                pained expression

      knowledge
        suddenly bred
    in the first gasp
                yielding flesh

        her fragrance
    breached, tainted
          twisted in his
                triumphant kiss

        a tear
    delicately dabbed
                away.
