Tis dangerous, being out so late.
What brought you out, a twist of fate.
Made you drive, out so far.
Following along, the brightest star.

You let it guide you, watched it shine.
Its light so bright.. and so divine.
So clear and fresh this night air.
Blowing gently in your hair.

You turn your face, just slightly see.
Into the breeze, you're teasing me.
Your eyes only slightly closed.
Your raw beauty is exposed.

At long last you look up.
I reach forward, your face I cup.
Leaning towards you, your lips I kiss.
Soft, sweet, full of tenderness.

Your eyes so trusting, stories they tell
Of times before, you remember well.
A treasure you are, just waiting to be found.
A treasure chest I am, holding you sound.

I'll hold you close, keep you near.
Shelter you, from all your fear.
'Tis alright, you'll be safe with me.
I won't hurt you, you will see.

Your trust in me, I have learned.
Is not something bought, but something earned.
Long ago, disagree I would.
But not now, I don't think I could.

My love for you, is everlast.
Strong and vibrant, the spell is cast.
I hold you now, and forevermore.
You are the sea, I'll be your shore
