Season to taste
the recipe says
so I sprinkle some cinnamon
on one of the beds,

A pinch of cardamom
some rosemary too
a dash of fresh basil
and nearly naked you,

I uncork the wine
a warm red Merlot
poured two glasses
watch the liquid flow,

You smile the way you do
when you get your way
the smile you smiled at work
earlier today,

I hand you a glass
we toast to the night
'here's lookin' at ya...'
in this hotel/motel light,

We sip the wine slowly
with deliberate hesitation
enjoying the moment
the open invitation,

'...come as you are'
stay as long as you crave...'
you wrote me in an e-mail
that I marked SAVE,

And here we are now
true to your desire
drinking wine in bed
the discovery of fire,

Now, we've been here before
by the copier machine
asking 'what'cha doin'...'
knowing what we mean,

I reach across and kiss you
let my hand explore
and for the next eight hours
our feet don't touch the floor,

My Favorite so far

I really like this one - it's just that little bit cheeky.
