We met in the winter
by the lake underneath the sun
What seemed a moment in time
 has now a cycle spun
 Another winter yet begun
 you brought me a spring
filled with music of enya
 to dance upon the air
and I brought to you my
 roses and Robins to
 find the pleasure there
 yet as autum leaves drop
 before our tired feet the
 dry and brittle truth
 We were just shedding
 the fountain of our youth.
