Look around and you see nothing.

And in seeing nothing you miss me.

I look into your eyes and see something.

I see the way you truly should be.

Someone who is not sure of everything.

Something who knows they are not what they seem.

If I had the courage to say something.

Something to shake your core.

It would not be about my feelings for you.

Or the way you don’t see me any more.

It would be to let people see you for you.

Thank you.

This speaks to me, about the facade I put up in life. Perhaps I need someone to shake my core for me, make me see who I should be.
