Sex is best
With dangerous strangers,
Hungry, obsessed,
Breathless & nameless
Runaway trains
In a plunging dark
Lit up by showers
Of shuddering sparks.

Sex is best
On the dizzy cliff-edge of taboo
When lust's engine surges
And shadows of shame
And the fear & desire
And pleasure and pain
Spin your animal urges
And rational brain
In a gorgeous confusion
Where all that remains
Is the shock and the wonder
Sin opens you to.

Sex is best
With long-time lovers,
Caressed by memories,
Giggles and cuddles;
The spiralling dance
Up the sparkling night
Then the melting of each
In the other's delight.

I love all of this!

And it's all true, let's face it, sex is best no matter what face it wears, warm and cozy or wild and kinky. Great words, great meter, fabulous rhymes. Thanks!

range

You are right times three.

I like your range here, good thing we live (relatively) long lives.
