I can feel the darkness
it is all around me
and I know that I am stuck
in its freezing cold shadow
I am alone
I know that as I have always
but some how the dark
makes it seem more forboding
The hurt welling inside me
bubbling and flowing with warm blood
is aching to be released
into the world that caused its wound
Will I always be hurt?
Will I always be afraid?
Will the shadow never fade?
Only time shall tell.
