I am blameless
bathing in & out of faith to wash it away
to cleanse old wounds
keep longing at bay
my desire for you ever homeless
mimicking shadows
dancing fearless
to birth and death within the light,
a tragic fray that rows them under
intrepid to commands of stay
yet here they come again heedless
as I wander through your absence
and I revel in its throe
to the hold that ghost of you,
redeeming faithless hopes I can renew
