Her soft light
violates the perfect blackness

of the hallway,
a door strangely ajar.

You peer into her realm:
two pale legs

carelessly straddling
a parlor chair,

her familiar strawberry hair
spilling down her

white swan back,
her unfamiliar rosy nipples

captured in her mirror.
She smiles,

knows you are there
and every secret thing.

She rises,
the forbidden fruit,

and turns to you
in naked acceptance.
