So many broken hearts not willing to take a chance.
We're the only one's sitting at the worlds big dance.
The hurt and pain from our past is all we know.
Our hearts are frozen and you are the snow.

Your beauty makes us ache but your response to us is cruel.
Try to hide away from you but our hearts repeatedly play the fool.
We crave your words of love, your gentle touch and for your warm embrace.
But we're so scared of you we can't even look you in the face.

Beauty deserves beauty and the ugly are left alone.
Get to close to the beautiful one's they'll turn your heart to stone.
So we'll just sit in our place and concentrate on our shoes.
Because no matter how we try for your love we only seem to lose.
