Awaken, dreams
from the deep slumber of veiled night
come forth the day, cloaked in sunlight
Take my hand,
guide me from reality
to the wonderful retreat i find in sleep
comforting.
I seek you behind closed eyes
If we could only step
from the darkness,
and love in the light.

A belated Welcome to Lit;

This little offering is much more better than 'distance'

Highly abstract imagery

Says so much with an economy of words...
