As I sit and watch you sleep,
the feelings grow from inside me deep,
your eyes closed shut,
your hair all a mess,
Knowing your mine is the feeling that's best.

I touch your cheek,
as you stir in your sleep,
a smile on my face,
Now is just the right time and place.

I rest my head against your chest,
the warmth of your body,
the touch of your flesh,
my body reacting, starting to stir,
As your arm closes around me and your hand brushes against my hair.

My body laying along side yours,
eyes closing shut and ready to dream,
while you hold me tight,
both blanketed within the moonlight,
that shines bright through the night,
secure and content, sleep creeps up on me,
as you whisper in my ear,
Sleep baby sleep.
