Monogamy
you had unwrapped me
and left a shell in place
of a slithering hot snail of a girl
who slowly slid under cover
lubricated to the gill

I thought you were unnatural

Adultery
I awoke flush in the night
when you pounded my heart
and dove through my dreams
with never ended banter
to draw near

I thought we were kindred souls

Now I know
I thought too much
and also, not enough
before adultery left in plaid boxers
and monogamy, quick as he came
