good morning, friend, how's everything?
we're here again, the daily grind
I heard that song you mentioned then
I had to smile, you came to mind

you look nice, you cut your hair?
didn't notice from across the room
she giggles then touches my arm
I catch a hint of her perfume

there by me to read a page
a little closer from where she stood
close my eyes, when she's this near
it means so much more than it should

expressed so wonderfully! Anyone who's been here knows the awful/wonderful tension. Thanks for this!
