He doesn't ask for much, just...
a wife, 10 kids, and a car,
to live in California, get a job,
be a rock star.

He doesn't ask for much, just...
for people to understand,
he likes his hair two feet long
held back with a rubber band.

He doesn't ask for much, just...
a gallon or two of caffeine.
Oh! And while we're at it
don't forget his nicotine!

He doesn't ask for much, just...
for the voices to go away.
They tell him to kill little babies.
That's what they always say!

He doesn't ask for much, just...
for us to be his friend.
Give him his meds and his vices
Until the bitter end.

Then he won't ask.
