A silent tear descends her cheek
as her eyes reflect the flickering flame before her
and her nostrils fill with the acrid incense consuming the air.

Yet it is worth it, to her,
to give herself over for this one chance
this one moment
to once again feel her lover’s kiss.

A lovers kiss ...

says it all. Very humbling read here. The title draws us in to an auction of candles and heat ... Nice~

Ethereal Joy!

Yearning for her Lover's kiss a sweet dream about to be realized. Lovely in it's simplicity!
