I cry alone
so no one sees
the emptiness
inside of me.

This man you think
you’ve figured out
is often sad,
with many a doubt.

Where did it go,
my confidence?
Why can’t this life
make any sense?

Are you a part
of my life’s plan?
Then, why am I scared
to take your hand?
