The Philosopher-queen in the tower.
Psychic defense is the sternest of tasks,
Denial, control within her power.
And she answers: is it ever not? Pain
Is the result of love - a living hell
When your scarlet still-beating heart is twain
And yanked out bloody from your twitching shell.
I seek the salve intellectual, but
Revelation says: free will is not, when
Love is. Libido conquers brain, and Slut
Reigns supreme, makes me whisper yet again:
You vector of endless longing and sighs,
Come lie, sweetly naked, between my thighs.

I have to agree with my friend Kolkore, this piece packs it all in. Perfect form and rhyme coupled with erotic lines and wonderful diction make this a winner. Read it several times and you get more and more out of it!
This new sonnet writer has struck a wonderful, painful chord. Bravo!
Come on people, I know it has been a rainy weekend, but this poem has a lot of good stuff: I hear echoes from dialogues on love from Exupéry's "the little Prince", there is humor not to mention some erotic lines. Throw in some chilling Inca imagary and Psycho dynamic jargon - all in one Sonnet which holds it all gracefully; I mean, come on!
