Soul,
Tenchi Akira

I’ve been dying all my life.
My soul drained of its energy.
Never to regain its youth.
Never to reign with its original strength

With the sky turning black above me
And the earth melting below me
I have no place to fly
I have no place to hide

Being so weak for weeks on end
I must defend myself from my past.
So peace will follow next to me
And my love will be with me hand in hand

I can’t fight anymore, muscles so sore
My mind in such a haze, being punched by life has left me dazed.
Bleeding out my eyes, this time I’m not the one who dies.

Being so weak for weeks on end
My soul aches as my body shakes
I have the will to live
But I don’t have the power to
Control the emptiness within myself
