come with me now, away south of the sun
with each dawn a new day and new life begun
where the blue of the sea and the sky become one
a moment, a lifetime away

the sun's heat lulls and makes us forget
the worries of life, the troubles we've met
they're captured glistening as fish in a net
taken from the tourmaline bay

hear the laughter of children at play in the sand
faint windblown music of a steel drum band
hot salty seabreeze, constantly fanned
cool gentle heave of the waves

the heat slowly abates from the shimmering noon
scent of cook fires from beyond the dunes
the pale ghost of a crescent moon
takes the place of the worries we gave

we watch as the sun returns to its fold
the waves glimmer silver then glittering gold
from forever, across the sands they've rolled
to die with a shush at our feet

in the darkness our world is only the beach
moon, stars, and heaven all within reach
bring love to us both, rapture for each
in paradise let our souls meet

not found on any mariner's chart
our destiny distant, but close in our hearts
our journey is done once we know to start
island rhythms bring us to sway

come with me now, away south of the sun
where the blue of the sea and the sky become one
your hand in mine, together we run
a moment, a lifetime away

Lovely

Such a nice place to see. Thanks for showing it to me first thing in the morning.
