I love everything about you.
your looks are simply angelic...
beauty beyond compare.
your voice is the song My heart sings
at night where sweet dreams always follow,
and waking up is the real nightmare.

your heart holds Me captive
in such a sweet embrace
that if I died within it,
I would think heaven to be a poor substitute
and the angels themselves would pale in comparison.

you possess my soul,
and I’d not have it any other way.
Not a day goes by
that I don’t wake in the morning
longing to hold you,
and fall asleep at night
imagining you lying with Me.

My heart aches when you’re not here.
And it aches when you are.
Because it knows what I try to keep at bay.
That sooner or later, you’ll be gone again,
and here I’ll remain with My memories,
My longing, My heart open for you
hoping that someday you’ll return once more.
