hunting her like tracking prey,
he found his supple mark; then,
skewering her like a bird
he devoured each juicy piece.
afterwards, not much to say -
jokes about her wrinkled skirt,
quips about her faithlessness,
gentle complaints of raw knees
and aching thighs. she knew now

she felt the pulse of her blood
quickened by the hot embrace,
and her self-respect oozed like
mascara down her pale face.

Another great piece! I loved the line "skewering her like a bird". Quite an image!
