Well here we are, as though
we had never been anywhere else.
Years have gone by, years having
that odd habit of going by.

Sometimes, I think of those
I have loved so deeply, and
tears form in my eyes. Well,
yeah, tears form in my eyes.

And then it's time for supper.
I chew slowly, still thinking, still
remembering. Tears form, as I
chew, and swallow, and chew again.
