I sold myself for mere coins
 Tossed at me
Not to catch but
To grovel
A statement of how you see me
No kiss goodbye
Just distain

The fridge air from the closing door
Lingers like your feelings
Iced
And
Edged
With
Frost bite

Hotly raged at the
The cold heart that is left
The condensation of hot and cold
Creates rain

And coins once clenched
Slip through
Fingers
Dropping
Into puddles

I’ll step over them
For someone else
To find

Ouch

Your language here is quite raw, you can feel emotion dripping off your words. Loved the contrast between the imagery and that ending was fab.
