"Hello there world, I'm looking up,
first time into space.
And I can see you looking back
The entire human race."

"I wonder what you'll think of me
I need a dab of grace.
Cause I'm just back from the brink
A nasty little place."

"We think your shit!"
"We think your rubbish!"
"Lost without a face."
"We think you are,
all things you've done
For only evil purpose"

"Oh my! Oh dear! I seem to
have caused some chaos,
I can't deny, while learning to try
I'm working on my pathos"

"But when you think this site could be,
the lowest of the lone
I know a man who knows he can
Stand up and look taller.
Cause he's pushed himself and pressed himself
Until he couldn't get any smaller."

"Your name sucks balls!"
"All your comments, trolls!"
"or worse."
"There's no poetry in your poems"
"Just leave this now"
"Don't even try"
"Give up."

No.

I won't give up.
I may not be blessed with creativity
Flowing like a geyser, bursting like a dam
Instead I trust my simplicity
Will show you who I am.

I love you world and I love you too
The girl, my one, is gone behind a barrier I erected.
It was to protect from, or was it the, bastard I'd created.
But in your eyes perhaps it was
a safety cord, or a button to escape?
A dumb mistake, that caused a supernova.

Cause I think i know what "small" is:
Self hate. A state, less than it could be
And I'm sure I know what "big" is:
Confidence. Shining, all the world to see.
The truth of it all , if I have the gall
Is to show that girl who showed me
Truth which I forgot, and drove to pot
With me, or not.

That was
for her
to be
Happy.

Your writing stirs emotion, and brings them to life in images, shadowed but filled with light. Thank you for sharing. Beautiful, really.
