Still water is quiet the ripples you see,
Spread out from my heart like my love for thee,
Gently and softly it widens much further,
As my love grows it widens when we are together,
We stand by a river hand in hand,
As our love spreads forth in warm soft bands,
Like the ripples from a pebble in still water,
Our love travels out softly to each other,
Now standing side by side by the water,
As we embrace we watch a playful otter,
We laugh, we kiss, we fall in love,
Our love together
By still water.
