She bends over my still waters
her hands cupped to drink
The moon shines over her shoulder
laying its gossamer strands on
the mirrored surface.
All is apparent tranquility
yet she feels of him beneath
the calm.
All is an illusion
Apparent placidity cloaks
the turmoil within.
She strokes the surface with her
fingers sending ripples through his mind
and disturbs his dreams
The calm isolation ends
And within the refleciton of the pool
she starts at the image before her
HIM
