Stop me before it’s too late
Or, perhaps, too late has already come
For I am taken with the very essence of you
Your smile melts me until I am but a puddle at your feet
Your eyes entrance me and take me to unknown universes
And your laugh excites the very core of my existence

Stop me before my soul floats from my being
And lays with yours upon a sea of silence
Drawing me to you with that starry twinkle
With the gentle warmth of your breath
That sends shivers cascading downward and away
I am helpless in your presence and weakened in your wake

Stop me before I take your hand in mine
And lead you to faraway dreams
Of wild and wanton abandonment
Played out in an act of perfect passion
Where only we exist and only we matter
Bodies joined as one, beneath a scarlet sky

Stop me before you are doomed unto my spell
Before you are powerless and weak before me
And stand bare with the utter beauty of you
Where I might gaze upon you and willingly weep
At the wonder of our joining and the marvel of our meeting
Heart to heart; mind to mind; bodies as one.

Stop me, if you dare
Just stop me.
