As I sit here,
my eyes close
my body trembles at the sounds coming from outside the window.
Rain hitting the leaves,
splashing to the ground,
making a white noise that toys with my senses and leaves me drugged.
Even behind closed lids,
the flash of brilliant light penetrates,
leaving me breathless with anticipation.
Waiting,
one Mississippi...
two Mississippi...
three...there.
My body shudders in response,
I can feel the air teeming with uncontrollable power.
Wind whips through the open window,
rushing over my skin,
tugging at my hair,
pulling at me like a mischievous friend.
Singing to me "come out at play!"

Nicely done. No distractions leads to a smooth read from beginning to end.

I assume it was submitted to the Erotic section by mistake?

Really enjoyed this Niki

Thats a great description of a good storm by someone who appreciates a good storm.

Don't go out and play but a rocking chair on the porch would be good...
