and again I return
strings in all their fancy
who can abide them
Birds find them      build nests
weave little shelters      small chicks inside

Wrap up My dreams in
strings of reality
What I hope, I want
what I see, I need
what I pray for, I have desired
and then the skies open up

The Sun shines forth      Bask in the warmth
kiss the ground and smile
Her belly was ripe and fecund
and she is now Yours

Think You to hold her
Think again
carefully        and be strong
All she ever wants is your caress
and your approbation
Give it
              and watch
