Mornings are fun
light blue taking over the deeper shades of the night
as it regurgitates the day
swallowed in fiendish hunger the dusk before
are they really monsters as once was
Thought, waiting to eat the Sun
and then the battle between the Moon
and the nascent Star begins anew each dawn

Where are the warriors? who fights the war ?
is the couturier dead?
why else are the masks askew, and the lines all garbled

Take by force, or take by guile
One shall win and the other not
Yet when will all know that there is no battle
no war
no fight and
no victors

Take what is now and sunder the rocks
dig deep to find where one has gone
and then maybe you can see the reason to be
but then maybe not
