Beneath the sea
his cupidity for three
left himself open
to subterranean infidelity.

The waves collided
against his heart's vessel.
Removed him from
the human festal.

The skin caressed
in his hand,
would dissipate and scatter
our love like sand.

Our life a sweater
with hanging strand.
He pulled to prove
the worthier man.

Relationship ashes left
in the incinerator of betrayal.
The mask now removed
from his false portrayal.

Beneath the sea
his cupidity for three
left himself open
to subterranean infidelity.
