greenmountaineerabout 10 years agoLiked the word play. I think it's risky to make iconic references of modern pop culture in poems, but it works here. I think the fact that the poem is short and the two stanzas contrast so well with each other is why. I like it when a poem makes me think as much about format as it does the content. This does.
