my light bulbs are extinguishing
hot water waning
dreaming a beautiful awake post
leaning next to a series of ones,
there are no numbers in the second line
same as numbers in the last

childish wonder does not age

adult male in creepy basement
drilling a single hole
over head for wires
a plug, an electrocution
a coating of cob webs
better known as dead eight leg trails
known also, a sign there are no
wing whisking bats about
no ammonia scented droppings either

surely it is safe to proceed with this-
this gentle path down hill
flowered, batless, spider free
just for the adventure of it all and kink
and savory hot hot clear clear water

Excellent phrasing...

though I couldn't quite figure out if you were an electrician, a plumber or a daredevil handyman here. Something more than home repair. Very good...

Dear Mr. Oxalis,

Seems easy, obvious when you write it down.

sawdust itch in the corner of my eye

just like in the bible

or something like it
