Sudden Interlude

A glimpse in the dark of teeth and eyes
Ebony blends with twilight
A shadow moves on satin, rustling
Rasping in her ear, a whisper like silken wool
Trembling ivory, shivering porcelain doll
She blinks, soft lashes brush her cheek
Rosy, flushed, her skin feels cool, then flaming
Pulsing, deep, she is frightened, excited
Soft, rough, fingertips glide like breath over
Curves, sharp angles, meet and blend together
Lips collide and thrash, tongues fighting endless war
Seeing by touch, by sound
Knowing the pleasure of pain
Slow, slow, then faster, more forceful
Riding, as if upon a wave
Crashing into heaven
Tense, arched, relaxed, sublime
A glimpse in the dark of teeth and eyes
Blinding light, deafening noise
The door opens, he is gone.
