slat of mirrored glass
lay against a barn
held by hope and trust
and splented boards
among tires, posts
riddled rubble and vine
a reflective shine
Hops a Mockingbird in strut
horizontal fence post perch
mirrored in image and highly distrot
another bird dare
be here in it's spot
flapping in hover
pecks at the glass
in Mockingbird attacks
glass and wing clash
pecking scratching and bash
bird beak slash
wings rapidly flash
darting with a smash
domination prevail
suicidal mockingbird tale
one of them won
then there were none
falling to the grass
one last look in the glass
Mockingbird flared
but died right there
I'd spot the patterns anywhere, it's as if I have read this poet before, or is it its?
An interesting tale, but is it suicide or murder?

Especially the first paragraph, which is superb! In the second paragraph, do you mean "splintered?" The imagery of the Mockingbird is novel and I like the idea of both protagonists being losers at the end. Keep on posting, you seem to have a natural affinity for poetry. (PS- I posted one of your past poems on my "vague poetry" thread!
