Spring has laid bare summer's endless beauty
Tiger lilies are dancing under the swooning sun
Can you taste jasmine on the tip of your tongue
As butterflies float across the cool, cool grass

La la la la love won't you come walk with me
I'll hold your hand I'll hold you close by
I'll be loving Anais to your traveling Henry
Inbetween sliding rainbows and shooting stars
Don't you know you're so alive inside my heart

Oh hush come and listen with me
Come listen to summer's melody
The pretty songbirds are singing
Singing so lovely summer's song
As my love for you goes on and on

Come take my hand we'll swim in blue taffy skies
Where caramel sighs complement your smiling eyes
Sweet pink cotton candy will melt in our mouths
While dreaming on endless days as the moon sways

La la la la love kiss my cherry blossom lips
'Cause like yesterday this day will end soon
With your hand in mine and my hand in yours
Under mellifluous skies so happy and so free
Two dandelions blowing in a summer breeze

Oh hush come and listen with me
Come listen to summer's melody
The pretty songbirds are singing
Singing so lovely summer's song
As my love for you goes on and on

We'll live inside hope that'll never come undone
And always believe love will win in the end
'Cause with time all broken hearts can mend
As long as the moon continues to court the sun

La la lala love don't close your eyes too long
When nature is singing summer's song
Or you may miss life in front of you
You may miss life giving youth
You may miss life's living truth

Oh hush come and listen with me
Come listen to summer's melody
The pretty songbirds are singing
Singing so lovely summer's song
As my love for you goes on and on
