What happens if you gaze at the sun?
Your eyes burn out and you see the awesome splendour no more
If I gaze upon you will the same fate happen to me?

You own me and you rule me and you captivate me
And yet you offer yourself to me
You make me humble and yet you humble yourself

You are the fire to my ice, the night to my day
You are my opposite but my whole
You shelter me, I protect you

When I am battle weary you sooth my brow
You show me right from wrong and weak from strong
I walk the path you show me

There was nothing before you
There will be nothing after you
You are the Alpha and the Omega

Give me your all and take mine from me
Allow me to love you and live for you
I pledge myself to you
