Sunrise
By
Denise Noe

Secure in privacy
Our passion made a world
Thousandth time yet still surprise
Then consciousness took flight
Calm so pure it brought night.
Awakening, we see the vibrancy:
Red, pink, yellow, and so much blue.
The sun has heard our joyous cries
And painted them across the skies.

Enjoyment

The imagery was very vivid. A bright way to start my day. Thank you.
